The goal of the Introba internship program is develop and grow future top talent. Students will be assigned to teams with multiple ongoing design projects and will be exposed to several phases of project design and construction administration. The student will receive a best in class experience as they will be assigned a manager, mentor, and provided with opportunities to explore other markets and sectors.
Responsibilities:
The intern will assist with all aspects of design and may work with the construction team. This work can include hands-on engineering work such as calculations and simulation, drafting, 3D modeling, on-site observation of construction and business aspects such as preparing for presentations and maintaining project files. An intern may also be exposed to other related design disciplines, such as plumbing and electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled and pursing Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Degree from an Accredited University Program
- 0-1 year experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Desire and ability to take direction from multiple engineers and facilitate work flow between different construction coordinators
- General understanding of engineering/construction documentation is preferred
- Ability to interpret and analyze
- Strong spatial perception and visualizations skills
- Intermediate to advanced technology skills necessary, including familiarity with MS Office products
- Exposure to Computer-aided Design software platforms (AutoCAD, Revit) considered beneficial
