We offer two career advising tracks to serve different job seekers. Networking and targeted research are highly effective methods for finding a job that matches your interest and experience. You will find tools to help you make valuable connections and identify potential employers and industry trends — whether you live in Seattle or Shanghai! Our USC Alumni Career Services website enables you to search for jobs, research organizations, attend regional and virtual career events, and network with fellow USC Trojans at events and online through the Trojan Network on connectSC.

The USC Career Center and Alumni Association are committed to assisting alumni with their lifelong career journey. This includes providing timely and worldwide access to career management resources available for you online 24/7. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of all career resources and services offered at USC, including your school-based career centers.

USC recent graduates with an academic degree from the class of 2023, 2022, and 2021 are eligible to receive complimentary career advising for the first three years after graduation.

To schedule an appointment, please create your alumni connectSC account. Once your account is approved, email recruit@usc.edu to schedule your appointment.

Recent graduates may have up to four 50-minute appointments annually via telephone, Zoom, or in person in the Student Union on the University Park Campus.

  • Individualized services include:

    • Resume, cover letter, curriculum vitae, and LinkedIn profile consulting
    • Networking and job search 
    • Mock interviewing
    • Job offer negotiation

The USC Career Center and Alumni Association provide specially-priced phone and virtual career advising services for USC alumni worldwide.

Career advising is personal, and unique for each individual. The professional advisors listed below are experts in the field; however, the USC Career Center and Alumni Association do not represent the nature of the services they will provide you.

  • Introductory Career Advising (one 50-minute appointment) $99
  • Resume or LinkedIn Critique (one 50-minute appointment) $99
  • Career Advising (two 50-minute appointments) $259
