On-Campus Jobs
USC hires student workers year-round across a wide range of campus departments. Opportunities are available in research labs, academic and administrative offices, libraries, and campus partners like the USC Bookstore. These roles allow students to gain valuable experience, build transferable skills, and earn income while staying connected to campus.
How do I find on-campus jobs?
Students can find both work-study and non-work-study on-campus jobs through Handshake. To search for these positions:
- Log in to Handshake
- Select “Jobs”
- Click on “All filters”
- Check the “On Campus Student Employment” option under “Job Type”
Most on-campus job openings for the fall semester are posted by the first or second week of August. However, departments continue to post opportunities throughout the year based on hiring needs.

On-Campus Student Job Fair
The Career Center hosts the On-Campus Student Job Fair during the Friday of move-in week, which is the week before classes begin each Fall and Spring semester, as well as in April.
