GENERAL SUMMARY:
As a PR & Integrated Communications Intern at Henry Ford Health, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both external and internal communications within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with our media relations and system communications team to support initiatives and projects that contribute to Henry Ford’s mission of improving lives through healthcare excellence..
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Media Relations:

Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, and pitches.

Monitor media coverage and track relevant metrics.

Support media outreach and interview coordination.

Contribute to media event planning and execution.

Internal Communications:

Assist in the development and distribution of internal communications assets.

Help maintain and update internal communication channels.

Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives.

Support the organization’s overall internal communication strategy.
