DIRECTV is looking for talented, highly motivated, self-driven individuals with interest in large-scale video distribution to join one of our technology teams as an intern. You may be working on projects such as:
- Automate data quality monitoring solution for our Chief Data Office
- Migrate critical infrastructure tools to the cloud
- Improve the UI/UX for our DIRECTV customers
- Participate in Agile Release Trains that deliver work directly to our customers
- Help to manage relationships with key strategic technology vendor partners
- Create data quality dashboards to help drive key business decisions
- Research potential security vulnerabilities
- Refined front-end code base for key platform tools
Key qualifications for our internship program include:
- Ability to work successfully in a full-time virtual work setting
- STEM graduate degree or bachelor’s degree students (Must have completed at least 48 credit hours and pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or working towards a graduate degree.)
- Demonstrated leadership
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative
- Has a positive, team-oriented personality
- Our preferred coding languages include Swift, Java (derivatives), SQL (derivatives), Python, C, C++, Linux/Unix, REST, Cloud Computing, HTML, Oracle and XML. Experience with Tableau or PowerBI would be super helpful, too!
- Must be able to operate a personal computer or wireless device
