Every Spring semester, the USC Career Center hosts its annual JCPenney Suit-Up Event. This year’s event will be held February 24-March 10, 2026. Current students, alumni, faculty, and staff can shop in-person at their local store or virtually. This exclusive shopping experience provides Trojans with an extra 30% discount on select apparel, including professional attire, accessories, shoes, and more!
The Career Center and its partners want to ensure that affordability is not a barrier prohibiting your participation in the event. If you are a current student in need of financial assistance, you can participate in our funding lottery for a JCPenney gift card (only current students are eligible to apply). Discount information and funding application will be sent to your email after you register for the event on Handshake.
Registration for the event opens in the Spring.
For any questions regarding the event, please email Stefanie Galindo at galindos@usc.edu

“I thank the generous donors who have made this event possible. Thanks to your support, I’ve been able to purchase professional attire for my very first internship—something I simply couldn’t afford on my own. Your contribution extends far beyond clothing; you’ve provided peace of mind during an important milestone in my academic and professional journey.”
“Coming from a background where resources were limited, moments like these remind me how valuable it is to have a supportive community that believes in students’ success. Your generosity truly makes a difference in helping me take another step toward my career goals.”
