The L.I.F.T. Summit stands for Leaders Innovating Flight for Tomorrow. It is geared specifically for university students interested in advancing the future of flight.  Recognizing GE Aerospace’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), it is also focused on identifying and growing inclusive leaders as we work towards a more diverse workforce, a more equitable culture, and employ more inclusive leadership.

The 2024 L.I.F.T. Summit will take place July 10-12, 2024 at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.  Hosted by our early career recruiting team and leaders from our African American Forum, Hispanic Forum and our Women’s Network, this 3-day event is designed to introduce students to our company and culture, showcase diversity and inclusion, build relationships and offer early access to interview for various 2025 Start Date opportunities including:

Undergraduate Internship & Co-ops: Engineering Engines, Engineering Systems, Digital Technology, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial

Full-time Early Career Programs: Engineering Engines Development Program (EEDP), Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP), Manufacturing Engineering Development  Program (MEDP),     Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP), Finance Management Program (FMP), and Commercial Leadership Program (CLP)

And new this year we are searching for ENROLLED MASTERS STUDENTS looking to learn more about a career in technical research in our Research Edison Program.

The event includes:

  • Meals, transportation, and lodging paid by GE Aerospace
  • Introduction to GE Aerospace, company learnings & site tours
  • Professional skills development and insights for career advancement
  • Networking directly with GE Leaders
  • Early access to interview for our internship and early career programs listed above
