My name is Andrew Turner, I'm an assistant project manager for AECOM Hunt. We specialize in sports and aviation And I get often asked that question a lot, what do we do? And it's quite simple, we really manage construction and we manage the construction process. So from start to finish, we do pre-construction, making sure the design is all squared away and we make sure that everything fits correctly and that everything is gonna be able to be coordinated and all fit together pretty well. For sports and aviation, we do sports arenas and stadiums and as far as aviation, we do airports and terminals and such like that. So we oversee the whole construction process in terms of schedules and cost analysis and making sure that the whole process is completed on time and on budget. One of the most recent projects that we finished was the Atlanta Falcons Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It just opened in late August. It was a pretty high-profile stadium, has a very specialized roof. There's eight retractable individual pieces to the roof. It's supposed to be like a camera lens, so when it opens, it retracts just the same as a camera, and each one weighs over 16,000 tons, it's incredible. In terms of me being on site, it's really a little bit more flexible. There's a lot of field issues that need to be coordinated and recorded, tracked, and that's part of me being on site. And I can be on site anywhere from half the day to maybe an hour on the project. But a lot of my work specifically is done behind the scenes, so I do spend quite a bit of time behind a desk and making sure that proper paperwork is filled out and really just making sure everything behind the scenes is getting done so that we can continue to progress.
