Zero Waste

To support university-wide sustainability measures, we will no longer offer water bottles or trash bins at the event. Instead, we will have water stations where you can fill up your reusable containers. Remember to bring your own refillable bottle with you. In place of trash bins, there will also be a “Zero-Waste Sort Station” where you can recycle or compost all materials that we provide. We discourage you from bringing any items to the fair that will end up in a landfill. In cases where this is unavoidable, we ask that you take those items with you when leaving the event.

COVID-19 Safety Information

Safeguarding the health and well-being of our students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers, and vendors attending our Career Fair, is our top priority. In alignment with current Los Angeles County guidance and University policy, please be prepared to follow the COVID-19 safety requirements for visiting campus and attending the Career Fair.

Attendees must be either fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or show proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test. How to show proof of vaccination:

  • Show your COVID-19 vaccine card (physical card, printed image, or digital picture on mobile device) with the date(s) of the vaccination, type of vaccine, and your name.
  • A photo ID will also be required for verification.

Accessing Campus – Trojan Check

All students and alumni will be required to conduct their Trojan Check symptom check on the day of the event to access the campus and this event. All alumni will be using the “Guest” option. Upon completion of your Trojan Check, you will receive an electronic Campus Day Pass with a QR code. Please be prepared to have your Campus Day Pass QR code scanned by (1) the USC Care team prior to entering campus and (2) the Career Center team before accessing the event. If you have any new onset of symptoms, even if mild, you will not be able to access campus or attend the event.

Outdoor Masking

If you are vaccinated, masking is optional when outdoors, but encouraged when individuals are not eating or drinking.

Unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask outdoors when they cannot maintain a six-foot physical distance from those outside of their household. Unvaccinated individuals must maintain a six-foot distance from others while consuming food or beverage.

Individuals refusing to comply with appropriate masking requirements are subject to removal from the event.

The health of everyone in attendance is our top priority. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns, or visit the USC COVID-19 Resource Center for more information.
