Investigate Industries and Internships (i3) is designed for students exploring various career options, as well as students looking for internship opportunities. At an i3 event, you can learn how employers broke into their respective industries and network with employers looking to hire interns.  Participating employers offer paid internships for fall, spring, or summer semesters. For more information, please read the FAQ below.

What is i3?
Investigate Industries and Internships (i3) is two part event, that will consist of a panel, followed by a networking portion. During the panel, you will be able to learn more about what it is like to work in a specific industry and how to enter the field. The subsequent networking portion of i3 will allow you to speak more personally to the present employers about their professional journeys, as well as learn about internship opportunities with their company.

What does the day of i3 look like?
i3 takes place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The first portion of the event will consist of a panel where you can hear about employers’ professional journeys and their interest in their industry. Afterwards, i3 takes a networking approach, where you will be able to learn more about what internship opportunities they are offering. This is your chance to meet with, ask questions, and give your resume to employers!

Where is the event located?
Locations are to be determined. This webpage, as well as the event page on connectSC, will be updated when locations are finalized.

What should I wear for the event?
There is no specific dress code for i3. However, we recommend business casual.

Should I bring copies of my resume?
Yes, it is highly recommended to bring copies of your resume. Employers may ask for it.
