Resources for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Scholars

The USC Career Center has compiled a list of career resources for Doctoral students and Postdoctoral Scholars which can be accessed in the resources tab on Handshake.

Currently enrolled Doctoral students can access Handshake via USC Single Sign-On tied to university enrollment. Postdoctoral Scholars can review info on Post-Doctoral Services & Access.

Resources include:

  • BioSpace – A digital hub for life science news and jobs

  • H-Net: Humanities & Social Sciences Online – A free online career exploration and planning tool for Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars in the humanities and social sciences
  • InterSect – An online platform that allows PhD-level scientists and humanists, regardless of professional stage, to explore future career options.
  • myIDP – A unique, web-based career-planning tool tailored to meet the needs of PhD students and postdocs in the sciences
  • Pathways to Science – Provides programs and resources for prospective and current STEM graduate students — including funding opportunities and professional development programs and resources.

Additional links provide USC & external listings for research opportunities and funding via awards, grants, and fellowships.
