Job and Internship Search for International Students/Alumni
The USC Career Center has compiled a list of career resources for international students & alumni which can be accessed in the resources tab on Handshake or you can refer to the following filtered search results in our online resource library.
Please note that resources are only available to currently enrolled students and alumni. We suggest using Handshake to sign into resources as many links are behind a university subscription. For faster access alumni should use an @alumni.usc.edu email.
Resources include:
- Interstride is an interactive career platform designed by and for international students to enhance their career exploration and job-search experience.
- GoinGlobal provides information and resources on careers and employment in different cities across the United States and abroad.
- FrogHire is a web browser extension for Chrome and Edge that syncs with 5 majors job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, Glassdoor, and Google Jobs) and provide insights into employer H-1B history, E-verify participation, job-specific sponsorship availability, and the candidate’s skill match to the job posting
- MyVisaJobs-founded by immigrants in 2006, is an information portal and online community for visa job hunters around the world.
- H-1B Data– As part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s commitment to supporting the goals of an open and transparent government, it maintains a publicly available Performance Data page that provides easy access to employment-based immigration data for every fiscal year from 2008 to present,
- GulfTalent– is one of the leading job platforms in the Middle East. It is used by over 10,000 employers across all sectors and job categories, and is a free resource for finding jobs with top employers across the region.
- CareerShift– Access the latest H1B company sponsorship data from the US government’s prior fiscal year. This filter is available when using the job search tool on the platform.
