Career Planning and Resources Certificate Program

The Career Planning and Resources Certificate Program is our professional development workshop series designed to build a stronger awareness of Career Center resources that have been curated to support USC students and alumni. 

Participant Information

Current USC Student Affairs staff, academic & career advisors, and faculty are invited to participate in this series of professional development workshops highlighting the most current technologies, resources, and information related to career development.

Register: Our annual professional development webinar series takes place each May.  Registration for 2023 has closed.

    • Career Advising & Employer Relations – discussion will include an overview of connectSC, an AI-based platform called VMock Smart Career, and additional resources available to students as they move from career exploration to action.

                   Wednesday, 5/17: 10:30am to 12:00pm PST (Zoom) 

    • Internship and Diversity Programs & International Student Career Engagement – discussion will include an overview of mentorship opportunities and scholarships available to students as well as an overview of a networking platform called Trojan Network.

                   Tuesday, 5/23: 11:30am to 1:00pm PST (Zoom) 

Attend Both Sessions: Participants who complete both workshops will receive a USC Career Center-issued Career Planning & Resources Certificate, access to connectSC, and be entered into a raffle for a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
