The Role:
As the Entegris Colorado Springs Facility continues to grow and expand in its operations and capabilities, ongoing EH& S efforts are in need of ongoing review, update and expansion. This role is critical in working to close gaps on many programs and procedures to ensure the employees and operations remain safe. This role and its responsibilities will require the intern to work closely with all levels of employees from the Director of Operations to production employees on various objectives. Key objectives is to enhance OSHA / CDPHE/ EPA compliance in several critical programs.
In This Role You Will:
Ergonomics – continue with the previous efforts on job / task ergonomic job descriptions using the site Level 2 ergonomic evaluation forms. LOTO – Review of current machine specific LOTO Procedures as well as continuing to develop procedures for 2nd and 3rd level equipment that may not have them. ETQ management Review, update and enter re-occurring EHS activities into ETQ: Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Annual EHS inspections. (Hazardous and universal waste, fire extinguishers, etc.) Enter site permits into ETQ Review current COS ETQ documents for update or delete.

Excellent computer skills – MS office suite of soft wear. Ability to work independently as well as interact with various employees and work groups. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Success is measured but overall performance and accomplishment of assigned tasks and projects. Timeline compliance Quality of work In addition, success is measured by the intern’s level of engagement, interaction and personal skills based on feedback from site personnel.
