Register for On-Campus Recruiting

The On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Program allows organizations to interview students from all majors during the fall and spring semesters for full-time salaried and paid structured internship opportunities at the Career Center. This program is free of charge for employers.

Fall 2019 OCR Dates

  • September 4, 2019 – November 15, 2019
  • Registration Begins: May 29, 2019
  • Career Center Partner Priority Registration Begins: May 15, 2019

Spring 2020 OCR Dates

  • January 21 – April 10, 2020
  • Registration Begins: October 30, 2019

OCR Set Up Instructions

If recruiting for MBA students only, contact the Marshall Graduate Career Services Center at 213-740-0156.

All interviews and meetings must conclude by 5:00 pm.  A fee will be assessed for any additional time after 5:00 pm. To discuss this fee, contact the Career Center.

Job Offer Policies

Organizations are responsible for all representations and offers made to students by their recruiters. When making an employment offer, students should be notified in writing, including salary, location, benefits, and starting date.

Students should be given sufficient time to make an informed decision regarding the offers they receive. Listed below are the timeframe minimums which the Career Center expects employers to offer students:


  • Two weeks from the receipt of the written offer


  • Two weeks from the receipt of the written offer


  • When extending an offer at the end of a student’s summer program/internship, we recommend that employers give the student until October 1 to accept an offer

International Companies Looking to Recruit USC Students

For international companies interested in participating in On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) to fill full-time salaried or paid structured internship positions, the USC Career Center can provide a letter of support for a B1 Visa. The letter will be addressed to the individuals interested in coming to the USC campus. It is the responsibility of the B1 Visa applicant to adhere to all guidelines set by the U.S. Department of State and complete all necessary application materials. For more information on rules and regulations regarding B1 travel visas, refer to Contact the Employer Relations and Research team at (213) 740 – 9105 for any additional questions about the B1 Visa letter of support.
