Share your insights virtually with students! Industry Insights allows panel participants to discuss their industry, organization, and the available opportunities as well as receive a resume book for all students in attendance. Our Industry Insights sessions are an opportunity to market your organization and provide your industry knowledge to passionate Trojans.
Industry Insights is a multi-day event that is student-led and held each semester. These Educational Industry Panels are hosted via Zoom, where panelists can speak directly to USC students about their industry and how to best pursue a career in that field. Interested in attending? What does Industry Insights look like?
This is a multi-day event of educational panels where students attend to learn about what it is like to work in the event’s chosen industry and how to enter the field. This is an opportunity to share experiences with Trojans and recruit students for your paid opportunities.
How do I sign up?
If you are actively recruiting for paid opportunities for the fall, spring, or summer semesters, we encourage you to sign up! One organization representative is required to participate in the panel, as we would like students to learn as much about the industry as possible. To register, email the Employer Engagement Team. You are not a confirmed participant until you receive further notification from the Career Center.
Third party recruiters, graduate programs, and fee-based programs will not be considered. Panelists and employers must be employed directly with their company.

How do I register for Industry Insights?

Can I register for more than one event?
Yes, but registration confirmation is dependent on available space for each individual event. All requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
How much does Industry Insights cost?
There is no fee to participate in Industry Insights. Registration covers participation for one representative to speak on the panel at one (1) Industry Insights event.
What is provided when I register for Industry Insights?
The standard registration includes space for 1 representative per organization.
What are the requirements for Industry Insights?
You must be actively recruiting to fill an open, paid full-time or internship position, which is defined by the California State hourly minimum wage. Students must be able to apply to your internship at the time of the event.
When will my registration be confirmed?
Your registration will be confirmed approximately within one to two weeks upon submission of your completed registration.
