What to Look Forward to for the Spring Semester

Looking for a job or internship? Just getting started on your career journey? We have many events and programs for you to take advantage of this semester! The following are just a few examples. Visit our events page for a complete list.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR): OCR starts on Tuesday, January 21. This program provides the opportunity to interview with organizations from diverse industries at the Career Center for full-time salaried and/or paid internship positions. If you did not already acknowledge the Professional Integrity Contract in the fall, you must do so in connectSC before you can participate. Sign up now!

Career Fest: This is a week of events (January 27 – 31) centered on navigating your career and professional development journey. Events are hosted by departments across campus and include the Study Abroad Fair on January 28, the Humanities Career Expo on January 29, the Tackle Career Indecision workshop on January 30, and many more!

Spring Career Fair:  This fair will take place on Thursday, February 6 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Trousdale Parkway. Employers will be recruiting for full-time, part-time, and paid internship opportunities. The fair is open to all class years and majors, including transfer students and spring admits.
