When can I sign up for an On-Campus Interview?
Preselect: The employer will select you for an interview after reviewing your resume that you have submitted on connectSC. You will then be able to sign up for a time slot. Once you have signed up for a time slot, you are committed to the interview or you will be subject to the Cancellation or No-Show Policy.
Open: Students are eligible to sign up for an interview if they meet the required qualifications desired by the employer.
When is the last day I can sign up for an On-Campus Interview?
Refer to the deadlines on the resume submission event sign-up at the top of each job listing for the company you want to interview with.
What should I bring to the interview?
Bring your resume, list of questions and any additional information that has been requested by the employer.
Where are the interviews conducted?
Interviews are conducted in the Interview Center at the Career Planning & Placement Center, lower level of the Student Union Building (STU B1). Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes early and in professional attire.
What if I am unable to make my interview?
Cancellations and No Shows are inconsiderate. Note that you have signed up for an interview with an employer and reserved a time slot for which another student could have signed up for. Any Cancellations and No Shows are subject to the loss of your OCR/connectSC privileges.
Is there anyone with whom I can meet with to prepare for my interview?
Career Counselors are available to schedule an appointment to prepare for your interview. There is also a walk-in Counselor available Monday through Friday, between 12:00 and 3:00, to answer brief questions about career issues. Please visit the Career Planning & Placement Center in the first floor of the Student Union.
