On-Campus Recruiting

How to Access On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)

  • Spring 2012 On-Campus Recruiting runs from January 11 – April 13, 2012.
  • Fall 2012 On-Campus Recruiting runs from September 17 – November 16, 2012.

First Step:
You must first have a fully complete profile on connectSC. For example, contact information, educational information, employment preferences, demographic information and login information. This information is not accessible by any employers or students. If you do not have information for a specific field, please leave it blank. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). To make multiple selections, hold down either the Control Key (PC) or the Command Key (Mac) while clicking the left mouse button. Once you have filled out all the information completely, click on the Save button.

Second Step:
On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) is available to currently enrolled USC students ONLY. Students will become eligible to participate in On-Campus Recruiting once an OCR User Contract has been submitted with the USC Career Center. Students will get access after 1 full business day. This contract allows you access for the 2011-2012 academic year only.

Third Step:
After filling out your profile and submitting your OCR Contract, you will need to upload your resume before you can start applying for jobs.

  1. Login to connectSC
  2. Select My Account >> My Documents to upload your resume
  3. Under Resumes, click on the Upload File link to add your resume. Users can upload multiple resumes, multiple cover letters, etc.
  4. You may also add other documents like cover letters, grade sheets, etc. in the other sections.

*Note: You may upload multiple documents in each section.

*Release Agreement: By uploading your resume, you are agreeing to make this document available for release by the Career Center.

You’ll find even more information in the OCR FAQ, or download the complete Guide to OCR handout. Also see our handout on ConnectSC Decoded.
